Inventory

You have no idea how much C9 warm white is on roofs versus in the warehouse.

In this trade most of your stock spends the season on other people’s houses. Inventory tracks what went out, what is installed where, and what came back at takedown — which is also how you find out that eleven percent of last year’s product never returned.

How it works

  1. 01

    Stock on hand

What is in the warehouse, by product, before the season starts.

  2. 02

    Out on properties

What is installed where, so a mid-season service call knows what it is fixing.

  3. 03

    Back at takedown

Product reconciled on return, so shrinkage is a number rather than a feeling.

  4. 04

    Reorder before the rush

Running out of one fixture in mid-November stops the whole board.

What it does not do

Inventory and warehouse APIs are shipped; the holiday stock interface is in build.
